Midland Wire Cordage

Redditch-based Midland Wire Cordage was acquired by Ormiston in 2002, since which time it has operated independently as a wholly-owned subsidiary. On 1 April 2010 the company was integrated into the Ormiston operating structure, under the Ormiston brand.

This integration reinforces the strategic aims and direction of both companies in that it optimises our joint manufacturing, marketing and customer service resources. In so doing it enhances the specialist nature of our business, bringing together two highly-skilled workforces and increasing our production capacity and diversity.

The combined heritage, expertise and resources of our Isleworth and Redditch manufacturing facilities will enable Ormiston to take on the challenges and opportunities of the coming years with confidence and consolidate its position as a leader and innovator in the industry.
